1. While connected to the internet, open Internet Explorer.
2. In the "Address" section, type "mail.nittanylink.com"
3. Click on the "Account Self Management" button
4. Sign in using your NLI Dial Up ID and Password.
5. On the left hand side of the site, you will see a list of buttons.  Click the "Friends" button.
6. In the FRIENDS page, you will probably see the "Disable Friends" option checked.  If you check one of the other options that you desire, your Friends system will be enabled.
7. You can also click on the "SPAM" button too, which will control the level of Spam that may come in as well.
   

NOTE:  The method of using Internet Explorer and typing "mail.nittanylink.com" is another method of reviewing your email from other places.  You do not have to use Outlook Express.  The interface on IE is an easy one to use.
